I’ve tried to throw a bit more interest into the design by bringing back my favourite piece of flint. Hopefully it adds just a little bit of decoration to the void-ness of the page.

I like it.
Not only does it look good, but I think the extra vertical edges in the header bars (tags and date etc) create the sense of vertical divisions at either side of the main content. The black space is less overpowering becuase of this.
Or maybe I’ve been reading too many design books, and have no idea what I’m talking about. A little knowledge is dangerous

Yes, as someone who hasn’t bothered to replace the default Wordpress theme on his blog, I probably shouldn’t be pontificating on design matters

I’m pretty thrilled that everyone likes it. I know it’s not gonna get me into 9rules anytime soon but if my closest friends like it that’s good enough for me. Cheers All.
