Now if I only had a pool big enough to try walking on custard...

Apparently &lt;a href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/11/29/nscien29.xml" rel="nofollow"&gt;Jonathan Edwards&lt;/a&gt; did a triple jump on custard to demonstrate the effect.  I first saw it on Braniac (great series).</description>
