On booting this morning, had the windows upate icon appear. A quick click to see what this mornings upgrade is…

Sly buggers! Now that’s a clever way to push Firefox aside! The browser war is getting underhand!
Firefox really has to keep up in this respect, Microsoft has handed itself this great delivery channel for just about all of it’s products!
I’m quite surprised that they have changed this into a channel for delivering paid content to the desktop. ‘Vista upgrade’ click to enter your card details and upgrade!

I’ve got IE7 on my main desktop for testing purposes, but my laptop is staying on IE6 so I can test with that too.
In general I much prefer Firefox though. Camino used to be my favourite browser on the Mac, but Firefox 2.0 seems faster, and I love some of the new features, such as spell checking and restoring sessions after a crash.

I ad to make some little changes to v2, I put the close tab button back to v1.5 style, I really like the session management too, very handy.
IE7 won’t be hitting my machine any time soon

While Firefox is better, I think this is good for your mom and pops who don’t even know about different browsers, they just click the big blue e
Maybe now the days of IE4 showing up in my logs is over, I can only hope
