I surprise myself sometimes too.  I've not had a chance to do a lot of photography recently, just felt too tired outside of work, which is unfortunate as I really enjoy it when I get a good photo.

I don't know if I could really give any decent tips out, I'm pretty much point and click with my Canon A610.  At some point i'd like to get a few extras for it, lenses and filters.

When doing these macro shots i'm having to get about 1cm away from the subject, and try to stay steady without a tripod is quite a challenge!

Such a nice comment is quite spurring me to get back into it again !  Thanks Stephen.</description>
