Been trying for a few weeks to get a decent sunset photograph.

Tried this location before but by the time I had fought through the rush hour traffic I was ten minutes late for the sunset, so this time around I made sure I left with plenty of time to get to the place. Still got stuck in traffic but got there in time to catch the last 15 minutes of sun down.

I think it came out quite well!

I hardly ever get excited about a Microsoft product but i’ve startled myself by how interested I am in Microsoft Live Labs: Photosynth.

The software cleverly connects photos by image content and displays them in a 3D environment allowing you to navigate around the set. The video demo looks quite exciting and could possibly be a Google Earth/Picasa killer. I have a definite worry about the spec of machine required to run the thing, I’ve also a suspicion that its likely to be a Vista based app. I’ve already read somewhere online that 2Gb of memory is the recommended minimum for Vista!

I’ve just not been as dutiful with my blogging in the last few months, I’ve been getting to involved in the world that is Flickr.
