Went see my colleague “Ron” and his band One in Ten last night in Ramsbottom.

They rock!

Seriously great gig and a first for their new frontman Jay. If you get the chance and you’re in the Greater Manchester area, go along, you’ll not be disappointed, I guarantee it.

Still on the hunt for some classic tunes to prop up my collection…

Essential Rock Albums of the 1990s, is helping me to stir up memories of albums and tracks i’d long since misplaced or forgotten.

neal was kind enough to drop a pointer in my Random Song meme to a fab little project called funnily enough Pandora. The Music Genome Project has created a little app that given a starting song/artist will create a station of lots of tunes your hopefully gonna lap up.

And so far i’m pretty pleased !

I urge you lot to check it out. Kinda feeds in nicely to my plan to listen to some new stuff…
