Samba PDC
Tuesday, May 23rd, 2006I’m just in the process of ripping out a Windows Server 2003 PDC that we’ve inherited. Frankly it’s a bloody nightmare to manage. Whoever set it up had obviously just been on some kind of MS course and had decided to implement every Active Directory principle they’d read about. You get the picture.
So i’m rolling Samba into play to take over the role of PDC, DHCP, Print server and Storage.
The biggy has been trying to replicate the LDAP and Policies. After a bit of googling I came across a few useful links I thought I’d blog just incase someone else has been scratching their head.
