The Hamster Returns

Friday, December 22nd, 2006

Watching Breakfast this morning, they showed a clip of Richard ’s first TV interview since the big .

He’s on ‘Friday Night with Jonathan Ross’ tonight. The gist of the interview seems to be that he’s fully recovered ‘without a scratch’ and, the best of all, he’ll back with Top Gear in January, Hurrah!

He does say ‘I’ll only be allowed to test drive sofas though’

Caterham CSR 260 unofficially breaks Top Gear lap record

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

’s Injection team has put together a driver’s point-of-view video of the Caterham CSR 260 as it unofficially breaks the Koenigsegg CCX’s record around the Top Gear test track. Similar to the previous Porsche GT3 RS video, this clip from StreetFire.net features a bird’s eye view of the track with the vehicle’s current position and lap time, as well as two additional camera views. We wonder what this will do in the hands of the superhuman Stig.

Filming resumes on Top Gear show

Thursday, October 5th, 2006

Filming resumes on Top Gear show.

Great ! It does stipulate that the show may not be broadcast even if they record it. seems happy that it’s up and running again though.

Why do people want to cancel the show, because someone was hurt? bloody HSE wrapping everyone in cotton wool. If no one takes any chances in this life what is the point of being alive. If some homo-sapien had decided millions of years ago to not venture from his warm cave because it was ‘a bit scary out there’ we might not even be here.

Take some risks !

Whilst the demise of our favourite Top Gear is fresh in our minds, how about a spot of Clarkson and his acerbic wit.

Richard Hammond Accident

Wednesday, September 20th, 2006

Just picked up on the of Richard Hammond’s crash during filming for the next season of Top Gear.

Richard Hammond

The latest is that he’s in a “stable” condition at Leeds Hospital. An hour or so ago his status was deemed ‘Critical’ so hopefully the step down is a good sign. I’ve been a fan of Top Gear for a long time, and I hope he pulls through.

Damn shock….

Update: Hammond’s condition now ’stable’. Phew, good !

I’m just kinda wondering what is going to happen with the next series of Top Gear, will they change the scheduling? I’m sure would still want the show to go out as normal.
